About Gregory
As General Counsel, Greg oversees all legal matters pertaining to Focus Financial Partners and its operating businesses. His team is accountable for delivering legal counsel that advances the Company’s strategic execution and protects its business interests.
Prior to joining Focus, Greg spent 12 years in leadership roles in the Legal and Government Relations Department at LPL Financial, a Fortune 500 financial services firm. He served most recently as Executive Vice President and Head of Litigation, Regulatory Affairs, and Corporate Law, in addition to serving as LPL’s Corporate Secretary. Prior to LPL, Greg was a Junior Partner in the Corporate Department at WilmerHale LLP before becoming Managing Director, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of The First Marblehead Corporation, an NYSE-listed company that provided back office and capital markets services for private education lending.
Greg is a graduate of Brown University and holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Outside of work, Greg cherishes time with his wife and three daughters, and enjoys high intensity interval training, travel and episodic rounds of golf. He also serves as Vice Chair of The Park School and as a trustee of the Richard K. Lubin Family Foundation.
