About Jason
As
the Chief Financial Officer, Jason is responsible for leading the finance
function at Focus and working across the business to deliver on growth and
value creation. He takes a partnership approach to ensure that he
and his team are an integral part of achieving strategic and operational
objectives while serving the needs of our stakeholders.
Prior
to joining Focus, Jason spent more than seven years as CFO of Morningstar,
where he led the global finance function and helped the business rapidly grow
and scale over that period. Prior to Morningstar, he held several senior
finance roles at Walgreens Boots Alliance and its predecessor, Walgreens.
Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Lehman
Brothers. He started out in the audit function at Arther Andersen.
Jason
received his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Michigan and
earned a master’s in business at the NYU Stern School of Business.
Outside
of work and spending time with his family, Jason loves playing racket sports,
skiing and seeing live music whenever he can. He also serves as the Vice
Chair for Metropolitan Family Services, a large non-profit organization in
Chicago providing critical programs and services to communities across the
city.
