About Scott
Scott is a Managing Director at Focus, where he helps lead the firm’s acquisition strategy and broader corporate development initiatives. Since joining Focus in 2018, he has executed numerous M&A transactions and collaborated closely with network firms on strategic initiatives.
Before Focus, Scott worked at William Blair, advising private equity firms and technology companies on M&A. Earlier in his career, he held corporate finance roles at Ameriprise Financial and Bridgewater Bank, a commercial bank in Minnesota.
Scott earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Originally from Minnesota, he now lives just north of San Francisco with his wife, daughter, and their dog, Bucky. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting Badger sports from afar, exploring Northern California, and spending time with loved ones.
