About Tony
Tony is a forward-looking leader and constant advocate for the clients of wealth management. He serves as Executive Vice President of Focus Financial Partners and Co-Founder and CEO of SCS Financial, a $30B firm catering exclusively to the family office segment of wealth management.
As EVP of Focus Financial Partners, Tony works closely with the senior management team in helping devise and execute on overall firm strategy. In this capacity, he is committed to a decision-making process that puts the interests of the clients first and supporting an internal culture of positivity and collaboration.
In 2002, Tony helped start SCS Financial in Boston with aspirations to build the most comprehensive, client-aligned firm in wealth management serving the ultra-high-net-worth segment. In the Fall of 2019, he transitioned into the CEO role, where his responsibilities include driving the overall management, vision, culture, and strategy of SCS. In addition, Tony has always cherished his time with clients and continues his close relationship with many clients of the firm, advising them on all aspects of their financial life.
Prior to SCS, Tony was a Vice President in the Private Wealth Management Group of Goldman Sachs. He began his career at Biogen, Inc. as a process engineer before shifting trajectories into finance. Tony is involved in Year Up, a Boston based non-profit focused on empowering urban young adults and the Concussion Legacy Foundation, whose mission is to bring visibility and accountability to concussion management in sports. Tony earned a BA in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
